The hit show ‘What/If’ is coming back for a second season. It will be premiering on Netflix this summer, but what about the status of Season 2?
The will there be a what if season 2 is the question that many people have been asking. There has been no official word from Netflix on whether or not there will be a second season of What/If, but there are some signs that point to it being likely.
With its criminal thrillers and mystery programs, Netflix plays a key role. What/If is an example of a show that has a large following.
The first season is over, and fans are eagerly anticipating a second season of What/If. Here’s all we know about season 2 of What If.
Season 2 Renewal Status (What/If)
Season 2 has yet to get formal confirmation. However, given the popularity of the first season, we may anticipate Netflix renewing the series in the near future. There’s a lot to look forward to in the second season if it does return.
It all relies on Netflix and how it makes its renewal decisions. The procedure and viewing numbers are kept under wraps by the streaming behemoth. However, given the fact that the first season of What/If drew a lot of attention, we may still hope for the best.
Plot of Season 2 of What If
We can’t say for sure what will happen in season 2. We do know, though, that it will be a very different tale. Mike Kelley, the showrunner, says that his goal for future seasons is to create a narrative in which nothing from the first season occurs. As a result, his intentions for a completely different kind of narrative make it impossible to predict the storyline.
Kelley has said that he intends the series to be an anthology that asks moral issues at every turn.
As a result, if season 2 is made, we may anticipate more serious, weighty issues to be asked of the characters. The plot of the program is on choosing your destiny and doubting or questioning your morality.
As a result, we may anticipate the show’s intensity to rise, forcing the characters and spectators to reflect on their own values.
Season 2 Cast of What If
Kelley claims that even if he tells a fresh tale, he does not want to alter much of the characters. Next season, he intends to do an American Horror Story and have the same people play various roles.
As a result, famous names like Renee Zellweger, Blake Jenner, Jane Levy, Juan Castano, and others may be expected to return.

Review of Season 1 of What/If
Some television programs are similar to drugs., You know they’re terrible for you, yet you can’t stop yourself from eating them. That is also the case with Netflix’s What If series.
So I summoned all of my bravery and resolved to watch it offline. My first response after finishing the series was ‘SHIT.’ So, if you’re going to watch the series like me, I’d want to provide a warning.
You’ll feel as though death has warmed up all over you after seeing it. Returning to the What If Netflix program review, the show includes implausible storylines, over-the-top & ridiculous characters.
Throughout the first season, you’ll get the impression that the show is trying too hard to please too many people. That is also why I think this is a significant problem. How could I pass up the chance to critique the actors now that I’m reviewing a Netflix TV show?
The two main protagonists are Jane Levy and Blake Jenner. Their Romeo and Juliet-style portrayals were terrible (At least for me).
Furthermore, the rollercoaster writing exacerbated the situation. Consider how terrible it appears when the writing jumps from one scene to the next.
Renée Zellweger’s character was the biggest saving for me out of all the key ones. What are your thoughts? Please share your thoughts in the comments area at the bottom of this article.
I wanted to tear her eyes out because of her cunning plans and icy detachment. To be honest, it was the character’s primary function, and I think she did an excellent job with it. And all of this with shoddy scriptwriting.
Apart from her, Keith Powers, Samantha Marie Ware, Daniella Pineda, and Juan Castano are some of the noble people that helped me get through the remainder of the What If season.

Last Thoughts
As previously stated, there is no official word on the show’s future. If the program does come back, it won’t be until late 2020.
Since Netflix has always been a bit coy when it comes to announcing new programs, this is a big deal. In addition, previous programs are being renewed. As a result, it’s impossible to say if Netflix will really continue this program.
Even if nothing is announced for What If Season 2, don’t be dismayed. Netflix has a large selection of internationally popular anime programs and films. Instead than waiting for the second season, you may view them now.
By the way, I’ll keep you up to speed on the What If season 2 whenever I have anything new to say in this blog post. So keep an eye on us.
